The objective of the application was to convert an existing website in Joomla 1.5 into Joomla 3.3. The function of the web application is to sell stationery products. A custom module was also present in the application.

CHALLENGES

  • Conversion of Joomla version 2 to Version 3.
  • Change of the files in the libraries.
  • Custom Module present in the website had to be taken care of.

OVERCOMING

  • Application had to be converted from Version 1 to Version 2 and then Version 2 to Version 3.
  • Libraries for the Joomla website were altered by uploading the diffe-rent files manually which took most of the time.
